About Changchun University Of Technology

Changchun University of Technology (BUT) is a provincial key university with engineering as its main discipline and coordinated development of engineering, management, liberal arts, science, economics, law and art. Founded in 1952, Changchun Automobile Industry School was founded by the state in order to prepare for the establishment of China’s first automobile manufacturer. It has experienced the development stages of Changchun Technical College, Jilin Institute of Technology, Jilin Institute of Technology and so on. In June 1970, Jilin Institute of Technology merged with Jilin University of Technology and resumed in October 1978. In September 2000, Changchun Coal Industry School, Changchun Coal Management Cadre Institute and Jilin Province Light Industry Design School were merged. In March 2002, it was renamed Changchun University of Technology. In 1992, it was identified as one of the first three provincial key universities by Jilin Provincial government. In 2004, it was again identified as a provincial key university. In 2016, it was selected into the “Central and Western Universities Basic Capacity Construction Project”. In March 2020, it was selected into the construction project of Jilin Provincial Characteristic High-level Applied research University.

The university consists of two campuses, South Lake and North Lake, which are located on the banks of South Lake and North Lake in Changchun, covering an area of 1.252 million square meters. The campus environment is elegant, making it an ideal place for study and research. The university has 15 colleges and 59 undergraduate programs. There are 1 post-doctoral mobile station, 5 first-level discipline doctoral programs, and 20 first-level discipline master degree programs. About Hubei University Of Economics

Hubei University of Economics (hereinafter as HBUE) is a full-time provincial university that has both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, approved by the Ministry of Education in September 2002. The history could be dated back to 1907, when the Hubei Commercial College was founded by Zhang Zhidong. Located in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, and next to the beautiful Tangxun Lake, the University covers an area of 1.46 square kilometers with a construction area of more than 0.67 square kilometers. About Jianghan University

Jianghan University (JHUN) is a public multidisciplinary university in Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei Province. It is co-built by the municipal and provincial governments, but mainly endorsed by the former. At the approval of Ministry of Education, four universities and colleges—the old Jianghan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology Hankou Branch, Wuhan University of Education, and Wuhan Medical College for Workers merged to form Jianghan University in October 2001. In June 2002, the school moved as a whole to the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) .

In 2018, JHUN was selected into the provincial list of “Double First-Class Initiative”, and its chemical engineering and technology discipline would participate in the country’s construction plan of first-class academic disciplines. In 2019, Xie Xianqi, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, joined the faculty of JHUN, availing it to be the first university with a full-time academician among Hubei province-owned universities. The main campus of JHUN is located in a place of legends and folk tales, which used to be within the territory of Kingdom Chu. Xie Xianqi, director of the academic committee of the university, is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a recipient of special government allowances from the State Council. He has won awards like the National Science and Technology Progress Award and others. His academic level in the engineering blasting field is in leading position both in China and in the world. The open JHUN values international communication and cooperation, and has established stable links of academic exchange and cooperation with over 53 universities in 21 countries and regions.The JHUN dragon boat team won the championship for two consecutive years in the Uganda Dragon Boat Race and was praised by Wang Yang, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, who visited Uganda then. About Hubei University of Technology

Focusing on engineering, Hubei University of Technology is a comprehensive university, covering eight disciplines including engineering, liberal arts, science, arts, economics, management, law, and education. Hubei University of Technology was originally established in 1952. In 1984, Hubei Institute of Light Industry merged with Hubei Academy of Agricultural Machinery to form Hubei Polytechnic University, and was renamed as Hubei University of Technology (HBUT) in 2004. HBUT is a key development university of Hubei Province, HBUT has been assessed as “a high level, standard-setting, and backbone university of the province’s higher education system” by the Party Committee and the Provincial Government of Hubei Province. In 1986, HBUT earned the qualification to confer Master’s degrees and recommend outstanding undergraduates to be exempt from the postgraduate entrance exam. It won the title “the university with an excellent graduate employment rate” in 2010. In 2014, it attained Tier 1 university status. In 2012 and 2016, it successively entered membership of the National Basic Ability Construction Project of Western and Central China Higher Educational Institutions.
